MilliyO did not begin in a boardroom. It began at our own dinner tables — a small circle of families who kept noticing the same uncomfortable thing. The flour smelled too white. The chilli powder was suspiciously bright. The “pure” ghee separated strangely. Our kids were eating food we ourselves had stopped trusting.
We started swapping notes. Reading labels. Visiting mills. Asking the elders in our own homes where they used to buy from — the same trusted millers, farmers and spice traders our grandparents had bought from for decades. Quietly, those relationships were still alive. They just needed someone to bring them back into our kitchens.
That someone became us. MilliyO is what happened when a handful of parents decided that “good enough for my child” would be the only quality bar that mattered. Every grain we mill, every spice we blend, every drop of ghee we bottle has to clear that one test first.

Most of what we sell comes from the same mills, farms and traders our families have used at home for years — relationships built long before MilliyO existed.
No chalk in the flour, no colour in the chilli, no “vanaspati” pretending to be ghee. We freshly mill in small batches so nothing has to be hidden.
Growing bodies do not get a second childhood. Our standards — sourcing, milling, packing — are written with that one fact in mind.
We are not a company first; we are a group of neighbours, friends and parents pooling what we already trust — and opening it up to other families who care about the same things.
If a batch does not meet our home standard, it does not ship. We would rather apologise for a delay than for a compromise.

We started MilliyO because we got tired of reading ingredient lists with a magnifying glass and still feeling uncertain. Tired of explaining to our kids why “healthy” snacks had a chemistry textbook on the back of the pack. Tired of paying premium prices for produce that had quietly lost its soul somewhere between the field and the shelf.
